Anglia Forwarding Trucks an Enormous Telescope

Anglia Forwarding’s European road freight department recently trucked a telescope unit valued at British Pounds 6 million for the Observatorio Astrofisco de Javalambre (OAJ) in Southern Spain. The telescope had to be delivered on a 4-axle air ride, 12,000 kilos double manned truck to the Observatory. The Observatory is situated on the top of a 12,000 feet mountain. The European Observatory is being built to gather information from outer space for the European space agency, in which the UK remains a big player.

Reports back suggest the drive up the snow-covered mountain was a little scary, but the cargo got delivered in one piece and is currently being installed.
